Residency in Healthcare Executive Leadership Development
This 12-month residency is with the Center for Rural Health Leadership, created to serve rural healthcare executives by assisting them in achieving greater leadership effectiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in NRHA’s Certification Programs marketing, communications, and admissions processes. Including, but not limited to:
- Email campaigns
- Website design
- Press releases
- Newsletters
- Social media management
- Contact database management
- Developing and distributing Certification Programs Cohort materials and information.
- Help monitor Certification Programs Cohorts progress.
- Track Alumni CEUs and provide updates to Graduates periodically
- Creating and editing content to include writing, researching, video recording, etc.
- Assist in developing and refining rural hospital executive leadership database.
- Research leadership development needs and rural hospital leadership turnover.
- Expanding and developing our rural health network.
- Assist Dr. Auxier and Sydney Grant as needed.
Required Skills
- Effective communicator via email and telephone
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Research, data analysis skills
- Scholarly Writing skills
- Self-Motivated
- Able to work without much guidance
Internship Details:
- This internship will be for 12 months, exact start date to be determined (May 2024)
- This is a paid internship
- Hours per week: 10 – 20 hours
- Report to: Sydney Grant, MHA
- This is primarily a virtual position and potentially includes occasional in-person conference travel.
