Oregon, Washington among states faring best economically through pandemic, report shows

A newly-released report shows that the Pacific Northwest has fared well economically during the coronavirus pandemic compared to other states.

In the report, experts ranked all 50 states plus Washington D.C. from most impacted to least impacted by the pandemic.

They considered factors like unemployment claims, consumer spending, and number of people working from home.

Louisiana came in first as the state hardest hit by the pandemic.

Oregon came in 49th place, meaning the state has been one of the states least impacted by the pandemic economically.

Arizona come in at 50th place, according to the report.

Washington came in at 51st place, meaning their economy has fared better than any other state during the pandemic.
