Side effects of vaccination against COVID-19
3.2.2021
Question for written answer E-000692/2021
to the Commission
Rule 138
Ivan Vilibor Sinčić (NI)
In the fight against COVID-19, the Commission has concluded agreements with vaccine manufacturers. Like any medical product or intervention, vaccines have both positive and negative effects. The short amount of time in which the vaccines have been released raises many questions about possible side effects, or autoimmune responses, in patients. It also raises the question of the extent to which manufacturers have made the Commission aware of the risks associated with the vaccines.
- 1.Is there a risk of an autoimmune response that could lead to infertility in women?
- 2.Was the Commission made aware of this risk?
- 3.How significant is this risk?
