Assistive Technology to Enhance Learning for All Students

The Real Assistive Technology for Everyone (RATE) Conference is an educational technology conference focusing on the use of assistive technology to support all students, especially those with special needs. 

All FCPS educators, staff, parents, and community members are invited to attend. Out of county teachers and support staff are also welcome. FCPS staff receive five recertification points for attending the conference.

The conference occurs every 2 years. The last conference was held in 2023. You can find conference highlights on our X (formerly known as Twitter)(link is external) account or by searching #RATE2023(link is external).

The RATE Conference is sponsored by Assistive Technology Services (ATS), part of the Office of Special Education Instruction in the Department of Special Services.
