SETO and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) are hosting a three-part, virtual series on how to access and utilize the data obtained through the American-Made Solar Data Bounty Prize that is now publicly available on the Open Energy Data Initiative.

SETO is hosting the 2024 Peer Review in Alexandria, Virginia. This event brings together representatives from active SETO projects and leading solar industry and academic experts to conduct a review of the SETO portfolio of projects and collect high-level, strategic feedback to support the office in achieving its goals.

April 2, 2024 | 11 a.m. ET | 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Grid Impact Study

This April, a total solar eclipse will traverse North America, affecting solar power plants across 12 U.S. states for up to two and a half hours. SETO, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation have partnered to evaluate the grid impacts of the eclipse, expanding on prior research completed for the 2017 eclipse. Register for this webinar to see interactive and detailed grid visualizations, learn about study findings, and get information to help utilities and operators anticipate the impact they will experience on the day of the eclipse.
