Information for the Museum Field on the COVID-19/Coronavirus

Category: Health
Decorative

With the continued spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and as public spaces, employers for over 726,000 individuals, and institutions that hold significant public trust museums must be well prepared for potential outbreaks.

The American Alliance of Museums (AAM) compiled this guide to help museums prepare internally and externally for increased outbreaks in their communities and navigate the broader impact of COVID-19. AAM continues to monitor this evolving situation. These recommendations should not be taken as legal advice or a definitive answer for any particular museum, but rather as a guide for preparedness for the field. 2. Have any institutions conducted an observational study of mask wearing (or not) to measure visitor compliance with safety guidelines?
