The Indiana State Library is excited to announce the date for the next Government Information Day! GID2020 is a government information themed 1-day conference that will occur Thursday May 14, 2020 at the Indiana State Library. Librarians and anyone else interested in government information are encouraged to attend. GID2020 will feature presentations on topics relating to local, state, and federal information.

The event is free to attend, and is a great learning opportunity for librarians, library staff, information professionals, and members of the public. Indiana public librarians can earn up to 4 LEUs toward their certification. For any questions, or requests for presentation topics, please contact Brent Abercrombie, Federal Documents Librarian, at (317) 232-3733 or babercrombie@library.in.gov.

The Indiana State Library will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities. If you require an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in this program, service, or activity of the Indiana State Library, please contact the agency's ADA Coordinator, Faye Brookins (FBrookins@spd.IN.gov or [317) 233-1184]). Notice of a needed accommodation should be provided as soon as possible to allow time for the State Library to arrange for the accommodation; however, notice of a needed accommodation must be provided to one of the above contacts no later than 48 hours in advance.
