Jon Altschuld is Landscape Architect (Colorado and California) with over 12 years of experience. As the founder and principal of Chinook Landscape Architecture, he is experienced in the design of natural areas, trails and open spaces, ecological restoration, parks, streetscapes, and transportation planning, and has an expertise in drone data collection, presentation graphics, 3D visualizations, master planning, and GIS mapping applications. His visualization work has been featured in the ASLA’s sustainable design practices video series and in various news pieces on new construction projects. Jon has taught numerous software workshops and given professional training on SketchUp, Vue, CAD, Lumion, and Adobe Graphics programs within the Planning, Architecture, & Landscape Architecture fields. Jon is currently co-authoring 'Drones in Professional Practice,' an educational and professional book set to be nationally published in late 2020.

Jeremy Wimpey, PhD. is one of the country’s leading recreation ecology practitioners. His applied field investigations help public lands managers understand the phenomena and mechanisms associated with visitor-use-related-impacts to wildlife, water, vegetation, and soils as and impacts to other recreationists (degradation or enhancement of users' experiences) in outdoor settings. His efforts focus on estimation of recreation demand, wildland recreation classification/resource inventory, public involvement, social impact analysis, state comprehensive planning, site design, land acquisition, use measurement, impact assessment, and facility operation/maintenance. His unique background— academic, trail enthusiast, entrepreneur— brings an innovative and holistic approach to providing solutions for recreation management challenges.
Aaryn Kay, Executive Director, Professional TrailBuilders Association

Aaryn has been working with PTBA since 2017 and has been working in the trail industry since 2002. During that time, Aaryn has worked with more than one hundred non-profits in almost every U.S. state and Canadian province with specialities in development, communications, strategy, and assessment. In 2009, she co-founded Kay-Linn Enterprises to provide a trail development and non-profit management services to communities. Prior to Kay-Linn, Aaryn coordinated trailbuilding and advocacy events, co-taught 150 weekend long trailbuilding seminars for volunteers and land managers in 32 states, instructed a graduate-level environmental education course at Duke University, and directed Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment’s Community Outreach. Aaryn has a Masters in Environmental Management and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Duke University.
