I have heard of foreigners having to fight unfortunately to get their citizenship. I hear that there are attorneys to assist those, but the VA should also help too. I hope that anyone can find assistance through one of the above sources if not a politician. Good luck.

I never looked at myself as a Foreigner or Alien.The Word Alien was derogatory in my Eyes. I had deep Roots in America ,due to my Dad,a US Army Word War 2 Veteran.But ,it is all in the passed now. I was a Squad Leader in Vietnam during my first Tour,as a Green Card Holder.All my Squad members were Citizens.

CW2 Tilo Stanley - Most Americans are from another country so technically speaking those that are not Native Americans are foreigners. Under the constitution, those born in the US are citizens, right?, no. freed slaves were not accepted as citizens until segregation was outlawed. Freeman who fought in every war in this country for the US were still denied many rights. Asians were not allowed to become a citizen until 1954. I can keep going but those that received their right, fought by arguing your point. My mother is a full bred Choctaw Indian and my father is a bi-racial Caucasian African American but I am considered an African American by my looks except for my hair. You have a right based upon your statements so fight to get things corrected.

Anyone who served in a combat zone with a green card should be put to the front of the line for citizenship and if killed should be given honorary citizenship and their immediate family reviewed for citizenship in his honor. And any who served automatically have my respect.

That is what I meant so I apologize for the way that I misquoted my response. In courts females have tried to get an insurance policy to pay for reconstruction and the case was denied.

SGT Carl Watson We are not talking about what happens outside of the VA. I am talking about what happens within the VA and how the VA mistreats Transgender Veterans.

I forgot to indicate that the VA accepted another court's
decision/ruling. Usually when state or district or appeal courts makes a decision then it includes the VA or other federal government agencies or departments. I read that the VA accepted the court's decision when another individual with the same question or complaint was denied.
