A persistent and troublesome topic — the proliferation of short-term rentals across Kittitas County and the impact on year-round residents — has prompted the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners to form a group to offer advice on creating regulations for temporary rentals.

The board is forming a Short-Term Rental Committee and is looking for volunteers to serve on the advisory body.
