Employers who employ five or more people are required under General Administrative Regulation 5 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), as modified, to keep a copy of the OHSA on hand at all times. An employer is required to provide a copy of the Act to any employee who requests one, including in cases where there are fewer than five employees overall. This specific prescription refers to the entire Occupational Health and Safety Act (including the 22 OHS Regulations), not just a wall chart (a summary).
