Every moment, every acknowledgment, every award echoes our unwavering commitment to those who sacrifice for our nation's freedom. We celebrated the extraordinary bravery of our Service Members of the Year from all seven branches of the armed forces. Their selfless actions exemplify the very values of the Armed Forces and the USO, reminding us of the profound sacrifices made in service to our country. There was not a dry eye in the house during a heartfelt tribute to the late Toby Keith, whose legacy of support for those who serve continues to inspire. “Being a military kid means my daddy is sometimes far away in distance but never in my heart,” said Analynn M., age 11. Analynn and her father are pictured here just before he was deployed with the U.S. Army National Guard. According to the Blue Star Families’ 2023 Military Family Lifestyle Survey, the amount of time spent away from family as a result of military service is the second-most important issue facing military families today.
