- Find the location where you want to study from the chart below.
- Choose the class schedule that is convenient for you.
- Go to the testing for that location and class time. No appointment is necessary. You must attend testing at the location and time you want classes.

Adult English (ESOL) Classes begin April 7, 2025 and run for 9 weeks

- AM Classes: $329 + $45 (books)
- PM Classes: $165 + $45 (books)

FCPS Adult ESOL offers several specialty classes for students at high intermediate and advanced levels.
New students must be tested before registering. Times and locations of new student testing are in the I want to study English section above.
American English Pronunciation
Speak more effectively. Advanced learners improve business, professional, and personal communication skills. Instruction will focus on accented speech sounds and intonation patterns that interfere with clear communication and contribute to misunderstandings.

Conversation High Intermediate Plus
Practice higher-level conversation skills while reading and discussing current cultural and social events and issues. Expand vocabulary, express and support opinions, and respond appropriately and effectively to others' opinions.

English for Employment Success (Advanced level learners)
Practice English language skills while learning more about planning for a career, conducting an effective job search, and being successful in the American workplace. Develop essential skills for job success and learn strategies to communicate more professionally.

English for Employment Success (Beginning level learners)
Practice English language skills needed for searching for jobs and communicating in the workplace, as well as develop essential skills for success in the U.S. workplace.

- Times: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel for English Learners
Work with a team of instructors to develop your skills in Microsoft Office Excel. You will have hands-on training in 2 class sessions plus time to work on your specific skills needs in a lab session. At the end of the course, you will take the MOS Excel certification exam. The certification is recognized by many employers and is a good addition to any resume.
*Pre-requisite: In addition to having a high intermediate or above level of English, you need to have basic computer, Internet, keyboarding, and mousing skills to take this class.
