Vancouver Police Department lauds year-old body cam program, but some critics still wary

“It’s just another tool on our tool belt, and there’s really no issues”

Vancouver police officers have been donning body cameras as a part of their uniforms for almost a year now. Department leaders say the devices have bolstered the community’s confidence in law enforcement.

Despite officials publicly releasing footage of two high-profile incidents caught on the cameras, some critics aren’t yet satisfied, however.
