Oregon lawmakers allocated more than $85 million this year to help expand mental health and substance abuse programs across the state. The funding will enable a Klamath Falls provider to open a 16-bed facility for people with serious mental illnesses, an Ontario recovery center to expand its inpatient substance abuse program and a Eugene facility to add 33 new detox and residential treatment beds.
