California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) asks for Name, Email, NPI number and Service Address to confirm that a training participant is a Medi-Cal provider who qualifies for payment for conducting ACE screenings. DHCS and OSG are also interested in whether other Medi-Cal providers are taking ACEs Aware trainings who do not qualify for the ACE screening payment, but who are part of the broader network of care that we’re working on helping communities build and expand. All of this information will be critical in the evaluation of the ACEs Aware initiative. Additionally, California Office of the Surgeon General (OSG) and DHCS are both interested in geographically mapping where providers who are taking ACEs Aware trainings are located. Email addresses will be added to the ACEs Aware list serve so you can receive additional information about events and the initiative. This information is used for ACEs Aware internal evaluation efforts, and ACEs Aware will not share your information publicly.
Certified Core Trainings include the Becoming ACEs Aware in California online training or a Core Training provided by one of the five following organizations: 1.
