New $20 Million Technology Center Opens in Richland

Atkins Realis President, Jim Rugg, said the technology center will be used to work on nuclear and environmental cleanup operations as well as clean energy advances, Digital solutions and making robotics a bigger part of everyday life!

"It's not just a slogan, it’s engineering a better future for its planet and its people and it's not just a slogan, we have values that we live by all of our employees. We look at each other as a family unit,” Rugg said, “We're about getting work done to make the world a better place and in this case at the Hanford site, it's about cleaning the waste, doing it safely, not getting anyone hurt, and doing it with timely results.

At the grand opening the mayor of Richland proclaimed it Atkins Realis day, in honor of the new technology center opening.
