SNOHOMISH — After a reported bomb threat forced a temporary evacuation, Glacier Peak High School reopened Tuesday morning.

Around 9:30 a.m., deputies responded to a called-in threat at 7401 144th Place SE, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Students and staff evacuated the school.

About 45 minutes later, bomb techs confirmed they did not find anything suspicious in the Snohomish school, according to the sheriff’s office. The lockdown was lifted, so students and staff could return.

As of Tuesday morning, deputies had not taken a suspect into custody, sheriff’s spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said. It remained an active investigation.
