Questions for written answer to the Commission (Rule 138)

Question for written answer E-001015/2021
to the Commission
Rule 138
Cindy Franssen (PPE)
Pursuant to Rule 138 of the European Parliament's Rules of Procedure, Members may submit questions for written answer to the Commission. In principle, such questions must be answered within six weeks. ‘Priority questions’ must be answered within three weeks.
In my experience, however, the Commission frequently fails to meet these deadlines. In view of this:
- 1.Can the Commission say how many questions and ‘priority questions’ for written answer it received in 2020? (Between 1 January and 31 December)?
- 2.How many of these questions were answered within six weeks?
- 3.How many of the ‘priority questions’ were answered within three weeks?
