Entry into force of Animal Health Law: debate with EC DG SANTE (March 4)

Coordinators of Political groups during their meeting of 24 February had decided to invite the European Commission (DG SANTE) representative to the next AGRI Committee meeting for an exchange of views on the date of application of Animal Health Law. As a result, Bernard Van Goethem, DG SANTE Director responsible for Crisis preparedness in the food, animals and plants portfolio addressed questions from Members during the meeting of 4 March.
