Commission procedures for handling staff complaints of harassment

A survey of staff on well-being at work in the Commission carried out in February 2005 revealed that, out of 10 450 respondents, 1 900 said they had experienced psychological harassment during their career (18.2 %) and 284 had suffered sexual harassment (2.7 %).

A 2006 Commission decision on its policy on protecting the dignity of the person and preventing psychological harassment and sexual harassment[1] stated that after two years of the implementation of the decision, an ex-post evaluation and a survey of staff would be carried out.

When was the last time the Commission undertook such a survey, and how frequently have they been carried out since 2006? Have the guidelines on harassment appended to that 2006 decision been updated in the years since? How many allegations of harassment by Commission staff have been confirmed and acted upon over the past 20 years by the relevant section within the Commission responsible for handling harassment complaints?
