Europe’s hospitals have been overburdened during the pandemic and the number of oxygen-related accidents or incidents and electrical fires has been increasing. In these circumstances, what action does the Commission intend to take to modernise detection systems for possible oxygen-related incidents and early smoke and fire detection systems and to ensure that electrical systems in European hospitals are safe?
