According to the annual activity report of the Commission’s Internal Audit Service (IAS)[1], the IAS audited the activities of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) on preparedness and response to an epidemic in 2019.

The ECDC is a European agency based in Stockholm.

• 1.What were the three most serious audit findings brought to light by this report, and what recommendations were made by the IAS?
• 2.To what extent have those recommendations been implemented, or ignored, by ECDC management?
