The EU farming sector is highly dependent on exports to the United Kingdom, worth on average around EUR 40 billion a year. With no trade agreement between the EU and the UK in view, I would like to know:
- 1.How and when does the Commission plan to trigger the EUR 5 billion agricultural reserve planned for this contingency?
- 2.What kind of specific aid could farmers receive from the EU Recovery Fund, the EU Solidarity Fund and the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund?
- 3.Has Spain informed the Commission of the contingency plan it has drawn up? How have the Commission and Spain coordinated their work on formulating support for farmers?
