The National Planning Frameworks set the strategy and doctrine for building, sustaining, and delivering the core capabilities identified in the National Preparedness Goal. There is one National Planning Framework for each of the mission areas, Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery. Each Framework is designed for use by the whole community.

FEMA is hosting a series of 60-minute informational webinars with interested stakeholders to discuss the refreshed versions of the National Planning Frameworks. These webinars look to provide information regarding changes and updates as well as to answer questions related to the Frameworks.

The updated National Planning Frameworks incorporate critical edits in the National Preparedness Goal, including lessons learned from real world events and continuing implementation of the National Preparedness System. The Frameworks update was a collaborative effort among interagency and whole community stakeholders, and incorporates over 5,000 comments from whole community stakeholders.

If you plan on viewing this webinar as a group, only one registration is required to access the webinar. If you do not receive a pending registration email after you register, please email us at PPD8-Engagement@fema.dhs.gov
