Join us for National Women's Blood Pressure Awareness Week!
The HHS Office on Women's Health (OWH) is excited to host National Women's Blood Pressure Awareness Week (NWBPAW) October 17-23, 2021! Throughout the week, we emphasize the importance of blood pressure control and empower women to take simple, everyday actions to improve their heart health.
The theme of NWBPAW 2021 – Healthy Pressure, Healthy You – highlights the connection between blood pressure and overall health and the importance of women maintaining healthy blood pressure levels at every age and stage of their lives. Throughout the week, OWH will share messages to promote a daily theme around high blood pressure or hypertension awareness. The daily themes are highlighted below.
