Clas Ohlson recalls Coline kettle

Vattenkokare_Coline

Clas Ohlson urge all customers who have bought a Coline kettle before 17 July 2019, to immediately stop using the product and return it to the nearest Clas Ohlson store.

Clas Ohlson has received reports that the handle may detach on the Coline kettle (article number 44-3118-1, -2, -3 in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany, 18-3640-1, -2, -3 in the UK).

For Clas Ohlson, product safety is always the highest priority and all products are being tested according to statutory requirements and our own requirements, which often go beyond legal requirements. No product that fails to live up to relevant standards and legal requirements is taken into Clas Ohlson’s assortment. Despite previous tests, it is now however concluded that the kettles, sold before 17 July, do not meet these requirements.

Clas Ohlson has no knowledge of injuries caused by this, but for our customers’ safety and to avoid further risks, it has been decided to recall the product. The recall applies to all kettles on the market sold before 17 July, i.e. batch number according to below. The batch number can be found under the kettle and at the bottom plate.

-        180771537

-        180971544

-        18121167672

-        18071142930

In future deliveries, the deficiency is corrected and these batches are not covered by the recall.

Customers will get a refund when returning the product to the nearest Clas Ohlson store. No receipt is needed.
