The Youth Conservation Council was created by the Michigan DNR in 2015 to encourage kids to get outdoors. This is a passionate group of 27 conservation-minded students from all over the state. Their goals are to:
- Protect, promote and enhance the state’s outdoor recreation.
- Create new opportunities for kids to use Michigan’s unique natural resources.
- Share their positive experiences in Michigan’s Great Outdoors.
Follow along as they give a voice to the younger generation and fully appreciate the opportunities the great outdoors provides.
