In May 2018, online credit card donation facilities — including those of Mastercard, Visa, and American Express — were withdrawn from several NGOs found to have links to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), an active terrorist group designated as such by the EU, the UK, and the US.

One of the organisations listed was the NGO Al-Haq, which is currently the recipient of a grant from the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR), to the sum of EUR 296 600 and up to the year 2020.

Given the seriousness of the claims and the actions taken by the payment processor:

• 1.Was the Commission aware of these developments?
• 2.Are these claims being investigated?
