ADDIS ABABA, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- The death toll from a landslide in Ethiopia's Southern regional state has climbed to 18, state-run Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) reported on Monday.
"The bodies of 18 individuals have been uncovered so far from Sunday night's landslide incident in Konta special district in Ethiopia's Southern region," EBC quoted local officials as saying on Monday evening.
The tragic landslide incident was induced by heavy rains on Sunday night, it was noted. Enditem
