A few degrees cooler than Wednesday. Highs in the mid 60s near the coast to the upper 60s to upper 70s for the valleys, in the mid 70s to mid 80s for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys, in the upper 80s to mid 90s for the lower deserts, and in the 60s for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet.
Warming starts on Monday. Highs near 70 on the coast, upper 70s inland valleys, and 80s for the Inland Empire and High Desert, and near 100 for deserts.
The onshore wind, west to northwest, will increase on Friday and again on Saturday due to a weather system passing through Socal. Winds of 10 to 20 mph and gusts 30 to 40 mph for the deserts, especially in the afternoon and evening hours.
